The category is early rave this week, sending you off to bouncy and bangy parties in basements and big warehouses.
TicketSwap’s weekly event highlights series THE AGENDA has you covered on the spiciest events across Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Groningen, Eindhoven, and beyond.
Complex: Mall Grab
Young Mall Grab is back in The Netherlands and travels way south this time. We’ve told you about his legendary Boiler Room, but prepare for an equally iconic four-hour set this Friday. Mall Grab is known for his explosive way of mixing and his catchy curveballs, so if you’re in for a sonic treat, make your way to Complex in Maastricht.
Die Rakete
Die Rakete serves you all things bouncy and bangy. Precisely one year since their first edition, the Amsterdam-based rocket launchers return to Radion with a stacked lineup, curated with Sachsentrance. Justin Tinderdate (yes, you read that right), The Jakob Sisterz, Benwal b2b Jelte, and many more bring their big eurotrance and early house tunes to the dance floor in Slotervaart.
Paradigm x Soenda 2023
Who’s ready for a ten-hour daytime ride with two powerhouses of event organizers? Paradigm and Soenda partner up and invite live techno icon Colin Benders, techno top girl Daria Kolosova, modular synthesist JakoJako, and many more. The Utrecht-based festival Soenda temporarily relocates to Groningen for this one - and so should you.
The Beginning: 25 years
Let’s go back to the start of acid, rave, and house with The Beginning. DJs like Jayee, DJ Jurgen, Erick E, and a lot more early adopters transport us back in time with their signature frenetic sound. This night at the new club Noordwaards promises to be a certified bangers galore, and we’re totally up for it.
Charlie Sparks All Night Long
Charlie Sparks is back for round two of a long, sweaty, and hot all-nighter at Now&Wow in Rotterdam. Charlie blends techno in the form of acid, industrial, rave, and even psytrance, with a signature sound that almost feels overwhelming at moments. This event is part of the festival Rotterdam Rave; the Dutch city where rave came from.
Intercell x I Hate Models
Back to the Warehouse Elementenstraat we go: the inexhaustible masked Frenchman that hates models and loves techno teams up with Intercell for an all-nighter. The self-proclaimed sweaty DJ rips through all the tracks he touches and takes the crowd on a journey through time and space wherever he plays.
Clone Label Night
Clone Records is one of those labels that never disappoints. As part of Haarlem Vinyl Festival, they bring out friends of the brand for a night of electro, techno, and essential dance music. The lineup is unexpected but ever so tasty, as Nelly, Steffi, and Egyptian Lover take to the Patronaat stage. Label head Serge is set to play, too, and shows ravers what his label is made of.
