As a special nod to acid culture, from the accidental squelch of failing hardware to inspiring countless producers and DJs worldwide, acid is a testament to the beauty of the broken. A sound never designed but discovered, it rewired dance music forever and proves that original ideas don't always arrive on cue.
One of acid's most vocal carriers, Dr. Rubinstein joins us again. A self-taught, crate-obsessed raver who found belonging on the dancefloor long before she ever stood behind a booth, her sets are acid-heavy, wild, and built on years of obsessive digging beyond any industry playbook. No PR machine or production credits to lean on, just selection, dedication, and an all-or-nothing relationship with music. Along with her, Boston 168 (live) grew up clubbing in Turin in their teens. Two decades of hardware obsession and jam sessions later, the pair have carved out their own corner of melodic acid techno: raw, improvised, and built around machines they couldn't live without.
