Deep in the crates, four artists make up the road to a slower burn.
Edward, a decade-long member of the Giegling family, has always had a softspot for hardware: synths, drum machines, samples he edits and re-edits until the metallic and the organic sit side by side, coherent but without a single clear focus. It's abstract, long-form, and it sucks you in through georgous minimal, dubby techno and beyond like few others can.
Loidis took a long break before coming back. He shelved the alias for years and returned to it for 'One Day,' the album Resident Advisor called the best of 2024. When asked, he describes the sound as "dub mnml emo tech": low, patient, with his own personal take on the micro.
AliA returns too, drawing from dubstep, dub, techno and broken beat. She's the Swiss knife and the glue of this night's billing. Together with an atmospheric delivery of tranquil textures by Sookie in Room 01.
