Mexico. Cult. A purely instrumental ensemble. A post-math-rock anomaly. Austin TV brings their motto “Tu Cara No Importa, Importas Tú” (Your face doesn’t matter, you matter) to life through their concert masks.
Their message has influenced more than one generation; they have played over 1,200 concerts, released 5 albums, and with more than twenty years of experience, they continue to carry the banner of independence to new and new horizons. The iconic concept album Fontana Bella (2007) was produced by Emmanuelle del Real (Café Tacvba). After a decade-long hiatus, they decided to return; in 2022, they announced their first comeback concert (Foro Indie Rocks, Mexico City) and sold it out in 3 minutes. The follow-up album Rizoma (2023) was named one of the most anticipated albums of the year by Rolling Stone Mexico. Their stage return at Vive Latino 2023, Latin America’s most important festival, was seen by 40,000 people, and their live performance for radio station KEXP garnered over half a million views within a month. With their new EP Indra (May 2025), they are returning to Prague as part of their European tour.
