London Calling is a two-day showcase festival that takes place twice a year at Paradiso, presenting promising bands and artists from the Netherlands and abroad. What began in 1992 as a stepping stone to mainland Europe for British bands such as Blur, Slowdive and Placebo has since grown into a festival where you can discover new music before it reaches bigger stages.Over the years, London Calling has welcomed the likes of Fontaines D.C., Florence + The Machine, Tame Impala, Japanese Breakfast, Wet Leg, The Last Dinner Party, Royel Otis and Angine de Poitrine. From indie rock and post-punk to psychedelic pop and everything in between, the line-up showcases adventurous bands and artists from all over the world.London Calling is all about discovering new music, being surprised and finding your next favourite band.
