SANTSAT ⟶ Kamaraerdei Ifjúsági Park

LOCATION
Our little 11th district summer camp remains a big favorite — this will already be our third year returning to the winding paths of the park. Its clearings are highly recommended for horizontal activities, there’s plenty of room for blankets with a color palette stretching from Benetton to signal green.

MUSIC
A Mediterranean front loaded with dancefloor-ready afro rhythms is heading our way as Budapest Afro Ska Orchestra arrives with live joy music, ear-to-ear smiles and ecstatic barefoot moments. Coming from Argentina, Pabels strengthens the latin axis on the electronic side with selections that have travelled through clubs and festivals all around the world over the past years. Dodo joins us from Romania with Cluj-flavored disco energies, and afterwards we’ll also take a little trip down the Nile with the wonderful Memphis crew, where Kiuz, Arash, kD, Solus and Kiki will pull hypnotic progressions and techno turns all the way to the moon.

NON-MUSIC
In the shade of the GAL-Lugas tent, Barabási Liza’s Sunflow Vinyasa yoga and guided meditation will help us settle into the leafy microclimate. At the “Choreography of Decisions” reflective movement workshop, the focus shifts toward the body, space and our reactions to one another, using improvisation to dig a little deeper within ourselves. During psychologist Ekin Demirtas’ workshop, trauma, collective memory and intergenerational emotional patterns will come into focus, opening space for shared reflection and discussion. At the Képző.art creative writing workshop, texts will emerge through associations and various writing exercises around identity, community, freedom and contemporary questions.

SPORT
The sports equipment will be open available as always: badminton, frisbee, pétanque and various playful games, all free to use.
FOOD
No stomach will be left empty either — we’ll be stuffing you with MANU+ pizzas, TAKO WORKSHOP tacos, fruity refreshments and salads from Toldi OÁZIS, while specialty coffee keeps bubbling nearby too.

As always, our helpers in pink shirts will be there making sure the space remains safe and welcoming for everyone. Feel free to approach them in any situation.
