Yet it is precisely the long-term perspective that determines who will survive today—both as individuals and as a society.

Health, capital, technology, and values converge in a single question: How can we make decisions today that will still hold up tomorrow? SHIFTS 2026 therefore seeks answers on how to work with the future in a way that will make it resilient over time.
