Souls Of Diotima

Founded in Sassari, Italy, in 2004 by drummer and lyricist Giorgio Pinna alongside his brother, Souls of Diotima are a cornerstone of the Italian and European metal scene. With a career spanning over twenty years, the band—fronted by the powerful vocals of Claudia Barsi—has constantly evolved, starting from a highly personal symphonic power metal style to reach their current, cutting-edge sound.

2026 marks a true revolution for the band. While keeping their unique sonic personality fully intact, Souls of Diotima have embraced a highly experimental and innovative modern metalcore genre. This brand-new era is heralded by the single "Run Away" (released in June 2026) and their highly anticipated fifth studio album, "Arcade", set for release on October 2, 2026, via the band’s own label, Diotima Records (founded in London in 2017). The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered at the legendary Studio Bohus in Sweden by a top-tier production team including their long-time producer Oscar Nilsson, Mikko Viitala, and Thomas Plec Johansson.
