Notice & Takedown procedure

By following our Notice & Takedown (NTD) procedure, you can report illegal content (such as intellectual property infringement or fraudulent listings) or violations of our Platform Agreement and Ticket Agreement.

NTD procedure

TicketSwap will handle reports under this NTD procedure as much as possible in accordance with the procedure outlined below:

  • NTD reports concern the modification or removal of illegal content on the TicketSwap platform.
  • Reports requesting the removal of content on the TicketSwap platform will only be processed:
    • if the content is clearly illegal and/or violates the Platform Agreement and Ticket Agreement;
    • after receiving a fully completed report form with the required attachments. The necessary documents depend on the type of report.
  • As part of the procedure, TicketSwap may ask further questions or request further supporting documentation to support the investigation. The report will not be processed until all information is submitted.

Upon receiving a report, TicketSwap will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of the report;
  • Verify whether the report meets the formal requirements and, if necessary, request corrections. TicketSwap may decline to process reports (with justification), for example, if the NTD report lacks sufficient motivation for us to assess whether the content is illegal or if it lacks a clear reference to the exact location of the content (such as the URL);
  • Assess whether the reported content is illegal and/or violates the Platform Agreement and Ticket Agreement;
  • Based on this assessment, take down or adjust the content, or reject the NTD report. TicketSwap will only remove or adjust the content if we determine that it is clearly illegal and/or violates the Platform Agreement and Ticket Agreement and considers the violation serious enough to justify removal.

Disagree with the outcome?

If we remove or adjust your content and you don’t agree with the decision, you can file a complaint via our complaints procedure within 6 months of receiving our decision.

Important to know

TicketSwap may take action against users who repeatedly submit false reports or act in bad faith. Such measures may include (but are not limited to) refusing to process any new reports or (temporarily) blocking your account.
