Bazart

Antwerp-based band Bazart has become a staple in the Dutch music scene. After their last successful album Onderweg , Mathieu Terryn , Simon Nuyten and Oliver Symons kept a low profile, although they have since released a few successful singles, such as Geef Mij Alles , on their own label ECHO.
At the same time, the trio also took the time to explore more personal paths: Mathieu moved to Amsterdam, Oliver went to Los Angeles to work on his own project and Simon entered the studio as a producer, notably for ECHO artists DAUW and Ricky Bekstok
. When the band members got back together, the desire and inspiration to start a new album quickly became clear. Their first single, Begin Opnieuw , shows Bazart at their most authentic: a song about letting go, starting over and moving on, but above all about the strength behind it all.
This synth-heavy track was released during their secret Pukkelpop gig, where their impressive live version was immediately rated a Hotshot by Studio Brussel. As their EXIT alias already indicated at Pukkelpop, this marks the end of a chapter, but proves that after the rain comes the sunshine.
