Bertrand Belin announces his comeback!
For this new studio album, he has chosen to explore new sonic landscapes, to continue and take his research even further, to dig his furrow a little deeper. The piano, in majesty on some of the tracks, lends an extra grace to the skilful electronic/guitar/drum mix at work on his most recent albums, but presented in a new light.
Here and there the strings lift the harmony and the voice towards all kinds of weather. The relationship is always from earth to sky and vice versa. The themes of this new album are existential, about our place, our views, our movements, our loves, our attentions, our impulses, our fears and our questioning. Bertrand sings even more than usual, and his ample prose gives his legendary, paradoxical minimalism a new tree structure.
